Specialty Silicone Products, Inc. Machinist 1st Shift Monday - Friday 6am to 2pm Wage Range: $25.00 to $32.00 based on experience Position Summary Machinist - Level I is an entry level (having less than 5 years of experience) position working closely with more experienced machinists learning how to use all the tools and equipment in the machine shop to support manufacturing. This position may also require formal training (through a partnership with HVCC or BOCES) to be a certified CNC operator. They report to the Engineering Manager and will join a team of Machinists, Tool & Die Makers, Production Engineers and Maintenance Personnel. They will be responsible for machining parts to specifications using a variety of manual/CNC machine tools and assisting with maintenance by performing the following duties.
