Is responsible for cleaning, sterilization, and processing of respiratory care equipment. Compiling and charting accurate records of equipment, oxygen, and supplies. Daily rounds to track patients receiving oxygen therapy, check availability of therapy gases, ensure adequate equipment is available for the therapist, and ensure safe function of flowmeters.

Duties & Responsibilities
An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.
- Cleans and sterilize all respiratory care equipment
- Communication with different departments.
- Maintain appropriate inventories of respiratory care supplies
- Maintain patients, department and billing records in accordance with CHCO and departmental policies and procedures
- Performs appropriate equipment maintenance and checkouts
Minimum Qualifications
- EDUCATION - High school diploma or GED
- EXPERIENCE - Six months of experience
- Healthcare Experience Preferred
- Supply Ordering
- Monitoring
- Discharging
- CERTIFICATION(S) - BLS for Healthcare Providers/CPR
