Remote Engagement Pharmaceutical Sales Representative-Hybrid

Amplity has a current opportunity for a remote engagement sales representative. This is a remote sales position with one of our top long-standing clients. The Remote Engagement Sales Representative is responsible for engaging health care professionals (HCPs) through virtual interactions to promote assigned client product(s), maximize the product(s)' selling potential, and meet program and company objectives.

The Remote Engagement Sales Representative will develop and maintain relationships with HCPs and educate them about product features, benefits, safety profiles, and approved indications to ensure appropriate patient use. Utilizing approved tools for product and program promotion, the representative will maintain a competent level of product, program, and customer activity knowledge while adhering to compliance and ethical standards.

Core Responsibilities: manage daily sales call activity according to defined expectations, with the purpose of influencing customers and increasing product sales.

  • On behalf of the company, promote company product(s) via remote engagements (telephone or video/audio outbound calls) by engaging assigned HCP targets in in-depth discussions to attain individual, territory, and company goals for sales, market share, etc.
  • Profile and manage targeted lists of HCPs and provide value-added benefits to grow product volume.
  • Create and implement business plans to achieve territory and business sales goals.
  • Maintain call productivity and metrics required by the program.
  • Effectively and compliantly communicate with customers using selling, listening, and negotiation skills, approved messaging, and approved promotional aids as needed.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of company product(s) and programming.
  • Verify and complete required data entry of call activity in Veeva.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to customer needs and questions.
  • Communicate with team members, client partners, and Amplity Project support teams as required.
  • Create and maintain a positive impression with the company and its customers.
  • Prepare reports for management as needed.
  • Fully comply with all laws, regulations, and Amplity and company health policies, the Code of Conduct, privacy and data guidelines, and relevant state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Participate in teleconferences, virtual meetings, and live (when required) national, regional, and district meetings and training sessions, and represent the client at national and/or local conventions when applicable.
  • Travel, which could include vacant territory coverage, conventions, or national meetings, as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college required.

Experience:

  • B2B, field pharmaceutical sales, remote sales, or medical sales experience desired.
  • Technical aptitude to navigate meeting platforms such as Zoom, Teams, and other remote engagement software.
  • May be required to attend in-person meetings with HCP offices (15%-20%) based on business needs and client requests.
  • Willingness to work in all time zones if needed.

  • Ability to travel to work-related meetings and functions (including overnight and/or weekend).
  • A valid driver's license and safe driving record is required.
  • Must be able to successfully complete all required Amplity and client training and certification.

Working Conditions:

  • Remote-based role requiring regular virtual engagement with healthcare professionals.
  • May include occasional travel for in-person meetings with HCP offices or participation in conventions, regional/national meetings, and other business-related events.

Credentialing Requirements:

As a representative of a pharmaceutical company, you may be required to submit and maintain credentials, such as training, vaccinations, and other job-related documentation to gain access to hospitals or healthcare providers. It is the Company's expectation that you comply with the requirements outlined by the facilities on your call plans.

Additionally, certain geographic jurisdictions or hospital systems have requirements to apply for and obtain a representative license. At this time, representatives working in the District of Columbia, City of Chicago, State of Nevada, State of Oregon, or those associated with Jackson Memorial Health in Miami-Dade County Florida may be required to obtain specific licenses. This list may be subject to change, including the potential for additions or modifications. In the event of any significant changes, you will be notified accordingly.
