Position Summary:



Yeshiva University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in Social Psychology. The successful candidate will be based at Stern College for Women, the women's undergraduate liberal arts college. The position will begin in August 2026, and rank will be at the Assistant or Associate level, commensurate with experience, fit, and qualifications. Highest priority will be given to applicants who demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching undergraduates and promise of becoming outstanding scholars with robust research programs that will provide opportunities for student involvement that can be supported by external funding.



Position Responsibilities:




  • The candidate will be expected to teach Introductory Psychology, Social Psychology, and other related courses, such as Personality Psychology or Experimental Psychology.
  • Develop upper-level courses and seminars in the candidate's area of expertise.
  • Teach three courses per semester.
  • Faculty responsibilities include student advisement, mentoring of undergraduate research, participation in departmental activities, and participation on committees that serve the department, college, and university.



Experience & Educational Background:



Doctoral degree in Social Psychology.



Skills & Competencies:



Applicants must have undergraduate teaching experience.

Salary Range:



$70,000 - $135,000
