The University of Virginia is a highly competitive Division I program committed to academic and athletic excellence. The Department of Athletics at the University of Virginia is now accepting applications for the position of Assistant Director of Operations and Player Development to support the Men's Baseball program. This part-time, hourly position will assist in day-to-day practice facilitation, travel, player development, facility oversight, and other duties as assigned by the head coach. This position exists to provide operational and logistical support to the Intercollegiate Athletic sport program of Baseball and to assist in achieving a nationally recognized program, both on and off the field, in a manner that meets all guidelines set by the University of Virginia, the ACC, and the NCAA. This is a wage position which is not eligible for leave or other benefits and is limited to 1500 hours of work in a year.
