FTE: 0.8, Shift: Days, Schedule: M-F Position Summary The Child Safety Educator is responsible for coordinating health education programs and services of the Center for Childhood Safety, presenting education sessions, and developing and distributing public health information materials. This is a professional exempt level position working under limited supervision. Work situations vary from routine to specialized project work and require strong organization skills, a community service oriented individual, creativity, the use of discretion, good judgment, problem solving, independent thinking, and decision making within the scope of the positions responsibilities. Major decisions are subject to the review and approval of the Manager - Center of Childhood Safety. Internal contacts are at all levels of staff and management throughout the medical center. External contacts include community associations and agencies, vendors, local, state, and federal agencies, and outside organizations.Requirements

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $66,997.00 - $96,408.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
