We are excited to add a Benefits Manager to our HR team! The position will pay between $110,000 - $140,000 plus bonus based on previous relevant experience and educational credentials. This is a hybrid role with three days in office at our Marietta, GA headquarters.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The MIMEDX Benefits Manager is responsible for supporting the HR strategy through the development, implementation, management and compliance of employee benefits, retirement savings and wellness programs. This role requires analysis of market best practices and the growing needs of MIMEDX to ensure that our benefits plan designs are supporting our employee population. As such, this role will also be a key player on the DEI team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Manage all benefit programs & plans, including health, retirement, wellbeing & leave programs, ensuring all programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies as well as regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in and lead multiple strategic projects including annual enrollment, RFPs, market analysis, plan audits, program implementation & benefit program redesign.
  • Negotiate with and manage valued relationships with broker & vendor partners, ensuring services are delivered within agreed upon service expectations.
  • Act as the internal subject matter expert and manage the MIMEDX health & welfare plans, including plan strategy, design, implementation & communications with responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the benefit plans.
  • Monitor government regulations & identify changes required to plan design, documentation, communization or filings with government agencies to ensure compliance.
  • Administer the company 401(k) retirement savings plan and coordinate the plan committee.
  • Administer leave of absence policy, including the identification and management of any ADA issues, to ensure compliance with any applicable federal and/or state laws.
  • Lead projects and collaborate with technical information systems team to add or upgrade functionality of the enterprise HRIS and associated systems.
  • Manage compliance requirements, e.g. timely annual ACA, PCORI, and 5500 filings; ensuring that benefit programs are fully in compliance with all regulations, laws and mandates.
  • Ensure benefit plan agreements and contracts are accurate and up to date; maintain plan documents and summary plan descriptions to ensure compliance.
  • Drive company's wellbeing initiatives, focusing on promoting healthy associates and managing healthcare costs.



EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:



  • BS/BA in related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of in-depth experience in broad-based benefits at the manager level
  • Experience with broker/vendor management
  • Experience administering health and welfare and retirement programs.
  • Experience with filing/maintaining all associated regulatory compliance requirements and audits (e.g. 5500)
  • Basic Compensation knowledge and desire to grow in this area
  • General HR systems, audit and implementations experience, particularly related to employee benefits.
  • SHRM or CEBS certification a plus.



SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:



  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with a focus on high level of customer service and confidentiality.
  • Solid experience creating power points and presenting data driven solutions to senior leadership.
  • Track record of successfully being able to influence and negotiate.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective internal (Finance, Payroll, Legal, HR) partnerships that foster strong business outcomes.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively, which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details.
