The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary The Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (VP&S) Office for Research (OFR) is looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator to join the recruitment team for the Columbia University Biobank (CUB) to enroll patients in the Division of Cardiology. The OFR will serve as the administrative domain for this position, with the Clinical Research Coordinator working under the supervision of the CUB Senior Director and the Enrollment and Operations Manager. This role is crucial in facilitating communication between Cardiology patients, their families, physicians, and researchers. The Clinical Research Coordinator will assist with the enrollment of participants into the Columbia University Biobank. Specific duties will include involvement in participant screening, recruitment and tracking, data and biospecimen collection (including blood, urine, or saliva), data entry, and maintenance of study files and databases. The Clinical Research Coordinator will be tasked with maintaining adherence to written protocols and regulatory requirements. We are looking for someone who can establish a good rapport with patients of all ages, as well as the clinical, research, and administrative teams. The ideal candidate will show a demonstrated ability to multi-task, operate efficiently, learn, and adapt quickly. .
