Licensed Psychologist Manager, Corrections - SCI Frackville

In this position, you will provide psychological services to the inmate population at SCI Frackville. Your duties will include supervising and participating in the work of subordinate psychological staff. This will involve screening inmates for referred psychiatric services, making appropriate referrals, conducting psychological evaluations, and administering diagnostic measures. In this role, you will serve as the administrative supervisor in the development of psychological services programs. This will include assisting in developing and integrating new policies and procedures, as well as managing a counseling program to deal with adjustment problems. Additionally, you will serve as Chairman of the Initial Reception Committee, Suicide Clinical Review Team, Psychiatric Review Team, Mental Health Services Review Committee, and Critical Incident Stress Management Team.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities or behavioral dysfunction.

• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
