About The Position

Ameren Services provides administrative support and services to Ameren Corporation and its operating companies, subsidiaries and affiliates. Nearly 1,400 employees serve the company with business planning, communications, diversity, financial support, human resources, information technology, legal counsel, safety and supply services.

This is a spring, Jan-Aug 2026 Co-Op in St. Louis, MO.

Co-Ops will participate in meaningful work activities related to data entry, reporting from existing tools, analyzing data, project management, and various tasks associated with developing and fielding surveys. Co-Ops are assigned a mentor that will guide you through your Co-Op. Coaching and feedback are a key part of your experience. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented, experienced Data Analytics staff while completing your work assignments. You will get exposure to the following technologies:

  • Programming Platforms: InMoment and Qualtrics

  • Tools: MS Office and, Power BI

The Co-Op program provides students with valuable work experience as well as providing Ameren with a source of highly talented candidates for full time positions.

Qualifications

Current student status pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Marketing, Marketing Research, Data Analytics., or equivalent computer-related field from an accredited college or university required. A GPA of 2.5 or above is required.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in data analytics and mathematics/statistics

  • Proficiency of MS Office (including the ability to create reports, spreadsheets and develop formula calculations as well as create lookup tables, perform graphical analysis, and develop/interpret tables)

  • Good analytical and human relations skills

  • Good time management and prioritization

  • Experience with organizing and analyzing large quantities of data

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom

  • A strong commitment to a career in technology and passion/aptitude for both software and information technology

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate clearly

  • Creative problem solving and proactive learning

  • Detail-oriented

  • Ability to develop professional presentations

  • Knowledge of SQL (preferred)

  • Experience with data analytics software and visualization tools (preferred)

  • Experience in modern software/application development (preferred)

  • Business process modeling and redesign concepts (preferred)

  • Project management principle (such as scope, deliverables, timeline and cost/benefits) (preferred)

  • Data science methodologies and processes (preferred)

Compensation:

We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the salary offered.
