Description
Purpose of Role
Develops and maintains the software, applications, and integrations used to support Yamaha business goals.
Key Accountabilities Include
* Supports front end software code deliverables to meet Yamaha business requirements
* Supports the code development process to ensure Yamaha software quality
* Understands and applies Yamaha guidelines to ensure a positive customer experience
Primary Responsibilities Include
* Learns to follow Yamaha brand style guidelines
* Learns to follow Yamaha SEO best practices in front end development
* Learns to follow Yamaha current WCAG best practices

* Accessibility: Design and develop web content for individuals with disabilities in accordance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, at Levels A and AA
* Customer Experience: Define desired customer experience to achieve satisfaction and loyalty throughout the customer journey
* Digital Development: Design, develop, and maintain websites and online applications used by customers
* Digital Development - IT: Design, develop, and maintain digital marketing stack, websites, and online applications used by customers
* Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Increase quality and quantity of website traffic and brand exposure through organic, non-paid search engine results
* UI/UX Design: Design the aesthetics of a digital product; plan the experience a person has when they interact with a digital product

Qualifications
Ideal
* Experienced in application of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, at Levels A and AA for website and mobile application design and development
* Experience creating website wireframes
* Language experience: Adobe XD (or similar tool), JavaScript, CSS, HTML
* Basic understanding of SEO factors in web page and website design and development
Preferred
* Experience working in enterprise PM tool like JIRA or Workfront
* BS in Computer Science
