What to Expect
The National Workplace team is looking for a Property Manager. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and possess a high level of competence in performing a full range of lease administration functions in an extremely fast paced environment with a high degree of ambiguity. The person needs to be detailed oriented and a strong communicator. The role requires the person to possess the ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects quickly and to react with appropriate urgency to situations and shifting priorities.
What You'll Do
- Manage a regional portfolio of locations in North America
- Responsible for accurately abstracting lease documents including updating and maintaining all lease information and data into TRT, a software platform including critical dates, options, rights, clauses, all payable information, performing data quality audits, and maintaining 100% accuracy of our technology system
- Throrough and diligent review of all rental expenses, capture cost avoidance and recoveries
- Track and monitor critical dates for lease portfolio i.e. manage tenant allowance billings and collections, manage security deposit collections for closed locations. New location setup - initiate vendor set-up, request COIs. Manage lease required insurance certificates compliance
- Initiate to completion landlord lease repairs and maintenance compliance. Resolve Landlord and Tenant lease disputes
What You'll Bring
- Strong eye for detail, descriptions, and process. Effective communicator, oral & written
- Degree in relevant area of study and/or equivalent experience preferred
- Lease administration experience required
- Commercial property management experience a plus. Ability to read and understand commercial real estate lease terms. Understanding of basic building repair and maintenance
- Effective with working independently, within multiple team and cross functional environment. Evidence of exceptional ability. Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational & communication skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Experience in a fast paced, detail orientated and team environment
- Travel to new lease sites will be required
