Job Summary
Performs a variety of maintenance duties for the entire facility, as assigned.
Primary Duties
- Constructs, finishes, installs, maintains, and repairs equipment, systems, and facilities related to any craft or combination of the same, using power and hand tools and other necessary equipment.
- Performs other semi-skilled and skilled work in various trades such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical work, machinist work, etc.
- Analyzes and corrects building system problems, alone or as part of a team.
- Assists in the completion of all normal and minor repairs and reports major problems to Supervisor
- Responds to emergency problems in the facility and makes emergency repairs as needed
- Maintain reporting logs for personal activity and machine activity
- Perform production machine repair and preventative maintenance
- Operate motorized industrial equipment
- Participate in department meetings and projects
- Operate within standard operating procedures
- Maintain neat, clean, and well-organized work area
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Mechanical and troubleshooting capability
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Good performance and safety records
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Adhere to all safety standards and personal protective equipment guidelines
- Experience in machinery repair with a combination of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and machine repair skills
- Must be able to use hand and power tools and other equipment necessary to complete assignments
- Detail oriented
- Possess good organizational skills
- Ability to pass the motorized industrial equipment test and obtain operator's license
- Physical Requirement: Must be able to properly lift, pack, stack and wrap up 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to touch, grasp, handle and feel items. Noise level is usually moderate.
Education / Experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of techniques, materials, tools and equipment used for completion of the described job duties
- Forklift license or ability to obtain license required
