About the role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Low Voltage Cabling Project Manager to lead structured cabling projects across multiple sites in the U.S. This role is responsible for managing all phases of project delivery-from planning and design to execution and close-out-ensuring high-quality installations and client satisfaction.Along the way, you will get to:

  • Manage end-to-end low voltage cabling projects including voice, data, fiber optic, and security and AV systems.
  • Conduct site assessments and develop detailed project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely and compliant execution.
  • Oversee procurement and logistics of materials and equipment.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and maintain documentation.
  • Responsible for managing all financial aspects of assigned projects including forecasting revenue recognition, cost, and gross margin.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC) and safety regulations.

What you'll need to join Insight

  • 3+ years of experience in low voltage cabling or structured cabling project management.
  • Strong knowledge of cabling standards and installation practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, financial tracking, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across the U.S.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Certifications

  • RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer)
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
