APP opportunity to join Henry Ford Health in one of the fastest growing specialties within internal medicine! Endocrinology is a rewarding branch of medicine, impacting a lot of patients. APP will see a challenging variety of cases and will be on the cutting edge of new diabetes technologies

Position is Monday-Friday no weekends. will work at our Columbus clinic in Novi.

Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant will primarily see patients with diabetes and obesity. There is an opportunity treat some osteoporosis and thyroid follow up patients as well. The APP will become well versed in all aspects of diabetes care, including diabetes technology.

This division has a long-standing tradition of APP's working closely with senior staff and fellows. It is a collegial environment, and the teamwork benefits our patients greatly. The role is supported by leaders and senior staff. There are opportunities for future growth.

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

APP will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and care coordination as a first line provider to patients and their families.

Provides inpatient and/or outpatient medical care.

Works in collaboration with attending physicians, advanced practice providers, consultants, house officers, nurses, and other members of the medical care team to ensure that patient outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently.

Specific procedures as per credentialing as indicated by training and experience. d by department.
