Job Title: Payroll Specialist We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing timekeeping records, processing payroll, and managing employee benefits. You will ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements and work closely with HR to maintain employee benefit compliance. As the first point of contact for employees on payroll inquiries, you will also liaise with the Accounting and HR departments to ensure smooth administration. Key Responsibilities: *Review and analyze timekeeping records to ensure accuracy. *Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner. *Manage the processing and reporting of employee benefits. *Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations. *Collaborate with HR to ensure employee benefit compliance. *Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding payroll inquiries. *Liaise with Accounting and HR departments to ensure effective communication and administration. Requirements: *Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. *Excellent communication skills, both accurate and articulate. *Ability to work collaboratively with Accounting and HR departments. *Customer service-oriented with the ability to answer employee inquiries and questions effectively. Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, preferably HR or Accounting. *Proven experience in payroll processing and benefits management. *Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations. *Proficiency in payroll software and systems. The anticipated salary range for fully qualified candidates applying for this role will be $58,549 - $75,002. The final salary offered will be dependent on several factors that include but are not limited to relevant previous experience including duration and type of experience within the industry, education, and internal equity.
