Global Reporting And Analytics:

  • The XIG Global Reporting and Analytics (GRA) team is responsible for producing client and fund-level reporting on hedge fund, private equity, and long-only asset classes.
  • This includes data analysis and review of quarterly letters, balance reports, underlying manager reports, monthly performance highlights, portfolio review books, and risk reports.
  • The GRA team supports portfolio managers, risk managers, sales, and client relationship professionals by providing accurate and timely reporting.
  • This involves extensive interaction with internal parties to ensure that data flowing into portfolios is accurate, as well as creating solutions for new reporting requirements.
  • GRA continues to focus on best-in-class client experience by working closely with the business to maintain and enhance client relationships.


Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Review portfolio holdings within reports and save down validation evidence, to support senior team members with the production process.
  • Produce reports that include the analysis, verification, and troubleshooting related to portfolio holdings, performance, new/realized investments, metadata, and commentary, etc.
  • Respond to requests from senior management, clients, and internal groups relating to funds, portfolio holdings, and portfolio performance.
  • Engage in projects relating to new products, clients, managers, and initiatives focused on platform enhancement.
  • Works closely with XIG investment teams, Onboarding, Client Service, Fund Accounting, Technology, Legal, and Compliance teams.
  • Participation in product launch calls and coordination with other XIG teams to understand and manage terms of client engagements impacting client reporting.
  • Interface with portfolio experts on the XIG team, including regular interactions with management in both XIG and Asset Management Operations.


Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience producing complex customized client materials with the highest degree of accuracy.
  • Candidate must be a team player, self-motivated, and demonstrate a willingness to take on more responsibility.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
  • Candidate is expected to demonstrate adaptability to new software products.
  • Advanced or highly proficient with Microsoft Excel.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • One to five years of professional experience.
  • Previous experience in Operations and/or Financial Services industry.
  • Analytical background to train and lead others in creating client materials.
  • Ability to interpret financial statements used to verify client reporting materials.
  • Understanding of performance attribution and risk calculations in models used for client reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills to review a large volume of output within tight timeframes.
  • Risk management focus.
