The Director, Client Analytics will serve as the strategic lead for transforming pharmacy data into business intelligence that drives growth, profitability, and operational excellence across the client portfolio. This role will set the vision for client analytics, lead high-impact opportunity assessments, and guide data-driven strategy development in close partnership with executive stakeholders. The Director will oversee a team of data analysts responsible for delivering insights from complex pharmacy, clinical, and financial data sets. This individual will elevate the organization's use of data by advancing analytics maturity, enhancing strategic client relationships, and building scalable, insight-driven frameworks for performance monitoring and decision support. Essential Responsibilities / Duties
- Lead the strategy and execution of opportunity analyses that identify growth levers, margin optimization opportunities, and strategic service expansion to support data-driven investment decisions
- Drive stakeholder alignment through cross-functional collaboration with Client Development, Client Services, Finance, Clinical, IT/Product teams to embed analytics into strategic planning and execution.
- Translate high-volume, multi-dimensional data into strategic insights and executive-ready deliverables, including narratives, presentations, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
- Own the development of complex, flexible data models and business cases to quantify the financial and clinical impact of proposed initiatives, new service lines, and program expansions.
- Elevate analytic rigor across the client portfolio by establishing frameworks that integrate financial, clinical, and operational data to drive ongoing performance improvement.
- Leverage advanced analytics and data visualization tools to enable real-time decision-making and strategic scenario planning.
- Act as advisor to client executives and internal leadership, using data to influence decisions, identify risks or gaps, and uncover emerging business opportunities.
- Evaluate ongoing performance trends across clinical, operational, and financial domains, using advanced analytics to surface actionable recommendations.
- Serve as a resource to our data, engineering and product teams
- Cultivate a high-performing team of data analysts, fostering technical growth, strategic thinking, and client-focused analytical execution.
- Stay current on specialty pharmacy trends, data environments, and the 340B program, ensuring analytic approaches are aligned with evolving payor, provider, and regulatory landscapes.
Education
- Bachelor's degree required; preferred fields include Analytics, Pharmacy, Business, or related discipline.
- MS, MBA or PharmD a plus.
Experience
- 8+ years of progressive experience in healthcare or pharmacy analytics, with demonstrated impact on strategic decision-making.
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing analytics or strategy teams.
- Proven experience in client-facing or consultative roles, with a strong ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insight.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, revenue cycle and claims data. Knowledge of 340B program a strong plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
