This is a non-managerial, high-impact individual contributor role designed for a UX leader who thrives in complex environments, connects cross-functional teams, and drives innovation through design thinking and AI-enhanced methodologies.

You'll serve as the connective tissue between Product Management, Engineering, and UX, ensuring consistency, clarity, and strategic alignment across key enterprise products. Your work will shape the future of enterprise UX at scale, including the design of intelligent, AI-powered user experiences that elevate productivity and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Vision
  • Architect user experiences for a large-scale enterprise system, from discovery through implementation.
  • Drive proactive UX planning, aligning design initiatives with quarterly release cycles and long-term business outcomes.
  • Lead strategic workshops and Design Thinking sessions to solve complex UX challenges.
  • Champion a user-centered design culture through best practice sharing and process refinement.
AI-Driven Experience Innovation
  • Collaborate with teams to design human-centered AI experiences, including intelligent assistants, predictive workflows, and automation features.
  • Translate business and user needs into AI-enhanced UX solutions that improve usability, efficiency, and trust.
  • Evaluate and integrate AI-assisted design tools into the UX workflow to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and testing.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with senior product and engineering leadership to shape discovery processes and align on complex problem spaces.
  • Serve as the design liaison between Product Management, Engineering, and UX teams, ensuring no team works in isolation.
  • Present and defend design strategies to executive stakeholders, balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and business impact.
Coaching & Influence
  • Mentor and guide designers across teams without direct management responsibilities.
  • Influence through expertise, diplomacy, and strategic insight rather than authority.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that improves team productivity through knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in UX design, with a strong focus on complex enterprise/ERP systems.
  • Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives from vision through execution.
Deep expertise in Design Thinking methodologies and workshop facilitation.
  • Experience designing for AI-enhanced workflows and using AI-assisted design tools.
  • Strong understanding of design systems, information architecture, and service design.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, cross-functional impact, and measurable business value.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and the ability to navigate high-ambiguity initiatives.
