General Summary:

The Construction Communications Coordinator is responsible for serving community residents as the network build and deployment subject matter expert. In this role, the Construction Communication Coordinator will proactively provide information to both residents and internal teammates, while also addressing questions and resolving concerns about network deployment and construction related activities.

Essential Job Functions:



  • Coordinates the execution of all construction related customer communication including direct mail, door tags and yard signs;
  • Contacts existing and potential customers concerning any problems or concerns they might have as a result of the construction process;
  • Researches, effectively manages and develops appropriate solutions to complex and sensitive customer-facing issues;
  • Documents concerns, research practices and resolutions in order to improve processes;
  • Works closely with Construction Communication Manager to generate and maintain performance reporting;
  • Acts as a point of contact for construction contractors to ensure communication to appropriate company departments;
  • Works with marketing and print vendor to maintain supply of all materials;
  • Travels to customer sites, project areas, business related events, and other Ritter Communications locations as required;
  • Performs other duties as required.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Knowledge and understanding of company products and services;
  • Skill in operating various office equipment such as personal computer, various software programs, and telephone systems;
  • Skill in multiple communication methods, including oral, written, facilitation, and public speaking;
  • Ability to think strategically, with strong decision-making abilities and investigative skills;
  • Ability to remain calm in high pressure situations;
  • Ability to demonstrate skills in leadership and general management;
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments;
  • Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand;
  • Ability to remain highly adaptive, flexible, and shift strategies on short notice as environment dictates;
  • Ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail with little direction;
  • Ability to travel for business requirements; must possess a valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.


Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Proven success collaborating and building strong relationships with customers; demonstrated ability to manage customer escalations and drive to desired outcome is required.

Experience with Smartsheet, Excel, Outlook and Word preferred.
