What You Will Do

As a Warehouse Coordinator you will cover a multitude of disciplines such as overseeing the movement and storage of goods throughout the warehouse, managing warehouse inventory and maintaining a database. Coordinates and schedules the movement of products throughout the warehouse including storage and shipment of finished products.

A Typical Day at Prime Controls

    Schedule materials to be moved to and from offsite storage facility
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup
  • Ensure all stock is pulled and loaded into the delivery vehicle with accompanying and necessary documents, in conjunction with delivery schedules.
  • Assist personnel with material transfers throughout warehouse and to offsite locations
  • Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner
  • Train new employees on the proper use and maintenance of equipment and facilities utilized in the performance of their job.
  • Receive merchandise as per packing lists in our Purchasing/Accounting module. Scan and file copies of packing lists onto server.
  • Interface with other departments to ensure Inbound and outbound deadlines are met.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment is in good working condition.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties.
  • Document all related activities and completes forms and reports.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
  • Performs other related duties as directed.

What You Will Bring

  • Ability to operate a forklift, order picker, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment; operate as needed.
  • Ability to lift or move heavy products.
  • Ability to direct the warehouse team in standard warehouse operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to keep accurate records.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and meet competing demands.
  • Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven traits in dependability, initiative, high energy, and proficient in time management.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Previous warehouse experience required.
  • Forklift Operator Certificationrequired.
