Join our team as a Bookkeeper, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records for our company and family members. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial transactions, supporting our overall financial health. As a Bookkeeper, you will maintain general ledgers, prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and journal entries with the assistance of Senior Bookkeepers and Accountants. You will track and balance financial activities, including stocks, money market accounts, and mutual funds, providing analysis of gains and losses. Acting as a liaison with our outside payroll provider, you will review payroll runs and quarterly and year-end tax reports. You will also prepare payroll for internal entities for review by Accountants or Senior Bookkeepers. Your responsibilities include managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconciling numerous bank and broker accounts, and maintaining accurate inventory records. You will monitor cash balances and work with assigned accountants to transfer funds as needed. Assisting Tax Accountants, you will gather and reconcile information for tax return preparation and prepare information for 1099s. You will work with Accountants to accurately book purchases and sales of investments, prepare data requested by internal and external auditors, and assist with loan applications for autos, boats, and homes. Coordinating with Accountants and Senior Bookkeepers, you will facilitate banking and accounting needs with outside bankers, brokers, and attorneys. You will prepare cash flow projections and workpapers for review and track new investments with assistance from Accountants and Senior Bookkeepers. Maintaining satisfactory attendance and timeliness is essential. You will ensure compliance with applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulations.
