We are seeking a ServiceNow Business Intelligence & Reporting Analyst that will be responsible for managing and transforming data within the ServiceNow platform to support enterprise reporting needs. This role involves working directly with the ServiceNow data schema to extract, structure, and maintain datasets that enable accurate and efficient reporting. The analyst will design and develop dashboards and reports using both native ServiceNow capabilities and external business intelligence tools such as Power BI, ensuring consistency and reliability across platforms.

A strong understanding of data architecture, normalization, and performance optimization is essential, as this role will support ongoing efforts to improve data quality and accessibility. The analyst will also contribute to the development of reporting standards and governance practices, helping to ensure that data is used effectively and securely across the organization.

This position offers remote flexibility and can be based out of one of our designated Hub locations near Jack Henry offices, including: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; Birmingham, AL; Cedar Falls, IA; Kansas City, MO; Southwest Missouri; and Louisville, KY.

The salary range for this position is $78400-$123450 and will be determined based on location and experience level.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Designs, develops, enhances, and maintains business intelligence products.
  • Designs, codes, and tests analytic reporting solutions and performs complex analysis of business and technical
  • requirements and writing technical design specifications.
  • Supports new and existing analytic reporting from code delivery until the retirement of the dashboard or report.
  • Designs, code, and test analytic data models to ensure quality assurance. Adheres to processes to minimize
  • data quality risks and proactively identifies potential data issues.
  • May coordinate development activities with other developers and members of other departments.
  • Works closely with business analysts, software developers, quality assurance, and customer service personnel.
  • Provides guidance on business analytics offerings and technical guidance as appropriate.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • At least 4 years of Hands-on experience with ServiceNow reporting tools, including Report Designer and Performance Analytics.
  • Working knowledge of the ServiceNow data schema, including common ITSM tables (e.g., Incident, Request, Change, CMDB).
  • Proficiency in Power BI or similar BI tools for building dashboards and visualizations using ServiceNow data.
  • Ability to extract and transform data using ServiceNow filters, GlideRecord, and basic scripting.
  • Understanding of data management principles, including data quality, normalization, and consistency.
  • Experience creating and maintaining scheduled reports and dashboards for operational and performance monitoring.
  • Basic SQL or query-writing skills for working with structured data.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Experience integrating ServiceNow data with external BI platforms via APIs or data export methods.
  • Familiarity with scripting in ServiceNow, such as JavaScript or Flow Designer, to support reporting automation.
  • Knowledge of Power BI advanced features, such as DAX, Power Query, and dataflows.
  • Knowledge of ITSM processes and metrics, especially in a reporting or analytics context.
  • Understanding of data governance and security best practices in enterprise environments.
  • Experience working in Agile or collaborative team environments with shared reporting responsibilities.
