Description

Oversee custodial operations at the local market level and monitor the quality of Endeavors Unlimited custodial services. Maintain appropriate levels of leadership and performance standards. Train employees, provide redirection and guidance as needed to employees. Adhere to purchasing, payroll and timekeeping processes. Assist in the creation and management of employee schedules. Operate equipment and job-related machinery when needed. Communicate with customers, and espouse the company culture and values. Always positively promote Endeavors Unlimited throughout the community. Frequent travel for this position is required.


Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:









Contract & Staff Support / Management.



  • Assist in ensuring contract compliance across all custodial accounts.
  • Solicit feedback from customers, supervisors, and staff to evaluate effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop, implement and provide training for employees - new hires & current employees.
  • Assist in management of labor and material costs to stay within budget parameters and ensure job/project profitability.
  • Ensure a safe environment at all times.
  • Travel (possibly with little to no notice) to meet program needs and directives.






Quality Management and Continuous Improvement



  • Monitor custodial standards and complete periodic Quality Control Inspections and submit documentation and reports as needed.
  • Recommend and implement industry best practices or process improvements to remedy substandard products or services. Identify opportunities to maximize employee efforts and performance, increase efficiency and productivity.






Perform administrative duties in a timely and accurate manner.



  • Complete and submit various reports as scheduled
  • Maintain contract documents, files, and organization per established guidelines.
  • Conduct interviews and make recommendations on hiring decisions. Assist with the new hire / on-boarding process.
  • Identify and pursue industry certifications, licenses, etc.
  • Assist in the tracking and management of program inventory.
  • Assist in the tracking and management of program vehicle / maintenance repairs.
  • Be knowledgeable of and observe all company, program and department policies and procedures to ensure compliance to federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.






Advanced floor care duties



  • Perform advanced floor cleaning such as stripping and wax, tile and grout cleaning, carpet extraction as needed to meet contract requirements.
  • Assist in training staff on advanced floor cleaning techniques and best practices
  • Ensure superior quality on all Endeavors Unlimited floor care services.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High School or GED required. Technical School Certificate or Bachelor's degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 2+ years' experience managing custodial, or similar line of business including contract development, negotiations and monitoring. 1+ years supervising and developing supervisory staff; multi-site/remote sites a plus. Experience with government contracts, Ability One or WorkQuest contracts, and individuals with disabilities preferred. Experience stripping, waxing, buffing, and refinishing floors; shampooing and extraction of carpets required.

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.

LICENSES: Driver's License is mandatory.

VEHICLE: Custodial vehicle will be avail for work activities.

OTHER: Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearances as required by government contracts. Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others.
