Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Supply Chain Assistant in Manassas, Virginia. The Supply Chain Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the coordination and management of supply chain processes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods, and helping streamline inventory and logistics functions. Seeking candidates with Familiarity with inventory management, procurement processes, or logistics; Experience with supply chain management software or ERP systems; Previous experience in a supply chain or logistics role is a plus but not required; High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field is preferred.
Requirements for the Supply Chain Assistant position include:
Physical requirements must be met for the Supply Chain Assistant job, including regularly being required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
