The Logistics Analyst I is responsible for managing the freight consolidation process and delivery appointment scheduling for top Distributors in our Institutional business

Being part of the NA Warehouse Team, the Logistics Analyst I is responsible for managing the freight consolidation process and delivery appointment scheduling for top Distributors in our Institutional business. Order Consolidation requires work to review all open lines on sales orders, timing of delivery creation, timing of inventory availability and consolidating order into single truckload shipment to a customer. In addition, the role will be responsible for scheduling delivery/dock appointments with the top Distributors. This requires coordination with Customer, Supply Point and Transportation provider.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Review open order reports multiple times a day and identify orders which SAP has split into multiple deliveries or shipments.
  • Responsible for executing SAP transactions to creation delivery and/or shipment and consolidate multiple deliveries into one shipment.
  • Tracking production and/or inventory availability and align with open orders to Top Distributors.
  • Work with Uber Freight to assign/tender carriers to shipments which have been consolidated.
  • Communicate with Warehouse, Customer Service, Uber and Planning teams on needs to fulfill open orders
  • Contact Customers directly through their respective appointment/dock appointment scheduling process and confirm delivery dates and times of pending orders.
  • Investigate and root cause shipments which were split by SAP
  • Investigate damaged or short shipped orders to confirm customer claim

Education:

  • H.S Diploma or GED required College Degree preferred)

Experience

  • Prefer 2-5 years previous experience in logistics; SAP experience desired.
  • Must be well organized, have ability to work with multiple stakeholders to accomplish an activity, good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of traditional warehouse operations, logistics practices, delivery/shipment creation.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $69,000.00 and $115,000.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
