System Administrator

Position: System Administrator

Client: US Space Force

Location: Schriever Space Force Base, CO (Onsite Work)

Duration: Full-time with benefits

Clearance: Active Top Secret

Certification: Any IAT Level II

Core Responsibilities

* System Setup & Configuration

* Install and configure software, hardware, and virtual networks

* Set up user accounts and workstations

* Manage network servers and technology tools

* Maintenance & Monitoring

* Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues

* Ensure systems run efficiently and securely

* Apply patches and updates to operating systems and applications

* Manage Licenses and CAs

* Support & Documentation

* Provide technical support to users and resolve IT-related issues

* Create and maintain internal documentation, manuals, and IT policies

* Train staff on new technologies and system usage

* Understand STIG compliance and implementation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Strong Knowledge of platforms such as Microsoft Windows Servers, Linux, VMWare, ESXI

* Strong knowledge and background in Cisco virtual machines to include (CUCM, CMS, PCD, CIMC etc.)

* Strong problem-solving and communication skills

* Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; certifications like MCSA or CompTIA Server+ are a plus.
