Night Shift: 6pm to 4:30 am$22.55 per hour + $1.00 an hour Shift Differential

Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Extrusion Technician. Reporting to the manufacturing shift lead, you will be responsible for the extrusion of quality polyethylene products through extrusion line set-up, start-up, operation and take down in accordance with Atkore policies and procedures. You will be committed to teamwork, continuous improvement, safety, quality, and delivery.


What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with shift leader to plan and ensure efficient work completion.
  • Follow all safety requirements and company guidelines.
  • Complete extrusion line changeovers within designated timeframes.
  • Maintain extrusion tooling quality and organization.
  • Set up and change print lines to meet order requirements.
  • Perform quality checks and documentation per ASTM standards.
  • Adjust product specifications to ensure quality.
  • Complete paperwork for accurate inventory information.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of work area.
  • Assist other technicians in start-ups as needed.
  • Work effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Identify and report problems; utilize resources to solve issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


What you'll bring:

  • Safety Awareness: Understanding and adhering to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in a production environment.
  • Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).

    As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $22.55/hr. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
