POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Pricing Analyst plays a critical role in shaping and executing pricing strategies that align with Nestle Health Science's (NHSc) broader channel, platform, and customer objectives. This position is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting pricing data to support strategic decision-making and ensure long-term value creation in the marketplace with a focus on Atrium brands.

The Senior Analyst will lead the development and coordination of pricing processes for both new and renewal business opportunities, including financial modeling, margin analysis, and competitive benchmarking. They will prepare and present pricing recommendations through the Pricing Approval Process, offering strategic insights and guidance to the sales organization on pricing and contractual matters. Additionally, utilizes digital tools and innovative technologies to enhance delivery and effectiveness, while consistently exploring emerging digital trends to remain at the forefront of industry standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for gathering, preparing, and analyzing relevant market, channel, and pricing, information that contributes to the development of NHSc pricing strategies.
  • Understand how pricing strategies align to Channel, Platform, and Customer Strategies to drive long term value in the marketplace.
  • Participate in the Pricing Approval Process and provide insight/direction to the sales organization related to pricing and contractual issues.
  • Responsible for ongoing coordination of pricing process for new and renewal business including:
  • Financial analysis of opportunity, including preparation and presentation of Pricing Analysis Tool through Pricing Approval Process.
  • Analyze product volume, margin and competitive prices to provide guidance and pricing recommendations (e.g. proposed prices and overall impact).
  • Provide guidance to field sales team related to ensuring pricing requests flow smoothly and quickly through the pricing process.
  • Management of and timely response to issues/questions raised via group e-mail box.
  • Responsible for providing accurate and detailed facts to assist in determining overall pricing guidelines for products and for channels.
  • Conduct periodic analyses to inform pricing strategies.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of pricing policies, procedures, models and related tools.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred but would consider experience in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 3 years of pricing experience in a healthcare industry or with general understanding of distributor-based businesses is required.
  • PowerBi, Tableau, or similar experience would be a plus.

SKILLS:

  • High level of proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Strong data management and analytical abilities.
  • Proven ability to handle conflict and competing priorities and demands and align resources effectively.
  • Strong team player able to communicate complex business decisions to a diverse audience.
  • Highly effective communicator who has excellent verbal & written communication and works well with individuals at all levels. Able to consume complex problems and communicate potential solutions simply.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain solid intra- and inter-departmental / cross-functional relationships.
  • Strong acumen for detail and process optimization.
  • Ability to draw conclusions and make decisions with incomplete and ambiguous data.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use digital tools and technologies to improve work outcomes, with a strong understanding of emerging digital trends and their relevance in a modern workplace.

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate's geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, NJ, Chicago, IL, Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Long Island, NY.

Theapproximate payrange for this position is $98,000 to $110,000.Please note that thepay rangeprovided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
