Purpose of Position

Purpose of the position is to provide the overseeing of the agreement throughout their lifecycle, providing proactive information to the Sales and Order to Cash functions to guarantee that the agreement terms are applied properly and also keeping the digital Agreement repository complete and accurate throughout the life cycle, notifying the applicable stakeholders involved in the agreement lifecycle when specific actions need to be completed (proactive) or have expired (reactive).

Principal Responsibilities



  • Serving as the point of contact for the Agreement upon execution to understand and track the execution of the agreement and reporting any event related to agreement progress to Sales.
  • Agreement Compliance- Maintaining Agreement records
  • Follow up that all the steps after the Agreement signature and during the agreement onboarding and execution are done properly according to the Agreement terms in all internal systems specially between Salesforce/ALM and SAP.
  • Prepare and manage reports and dashboard to track Agreement compliance.
  • Monthly/QuarterlyReports examples but not limited to: Pricing, Payment terms, specific customer requirement match information related to Agreement with SAP master dataensuring customer agreements terms are correctly reflected in invoicing especially after a price change, a change in agreement (amendments or renewals).
  • Reviewthe minmax invoice volumes against actualsper customer and trigger warning messages to the sales teams when customer volumes deviate from agreement terms
  • Review activity reports for follow-up with saleswhere appropriate-egNearto expired dead endagreements,soon toEvergreen agreements.
  • Rental invoices are done properly. -Incidental charges - develop reports to capture the execution vs. agreement terms according to the Incidental Charges table.
  • Results ofaudit checks, improvement opportunities to be posted to Head of Customer Service with any recommendations.
  • Agreement management: Follow up and provide controls with reports and Salesforce Alerts to the Account Managers confirming that the agreement execution & customer service management conforms to agreement terms and requirements specially related to charges, incidental charges, rental, average consumption of the Product, volumes variation, invoices.
  • Verifying accuracy of invoices and credit and debit notes are consistent with the agreement terms.
  • Provide regular follow up to guarantee that expired documents and confirms that all Sales responsible for the upcoming renewals dates have the reminders properly settled in the ALM system.
  • Agreement onboarding - New Business -New Agreement:Trigger for start of activities - customer is fully onboarded in SAP GOLD ReviewSalesforce/ALM documents are stored in the correct account and location.
  • Review key fields from Spring CM to SAP to ensure data consistency. (egPricingper agreement is correct in SAP, hierarchy in SAP and Salesforce are correct, other charges, incident charges are set up for automatic billing.
  • Document account reviews for audit purposes
  • Review reports of execution and provide Alerts.
  • Oversight of theagreement close-out process, including ensuring the agreement contains all necessary documentation and that all equipmenthas been removed,ensure all SAP close activities have been completed.
  • Agreements are archived after all these steps are completed 3-Responsible for Customer Notification related to Agreements changes 4- Support to develop and implement procedures for the Agreement Life Cycle management
  • The Agreement Management team will work in conjunction with Sales, Legal and Quote to Cash to support the development and implementation of procedures for the Agreement Life Cycle management clarifying the roles and responsibilities for anyone involved in the agreement process maintaining best practices and baseline for accountability expectations, and protect against legal, regulatory, and liability issues.
  • Keeping these policies and procedures adhered to is streamlined withanAgreement lifecycle management tool.
  • Setting up templates and approval workflows to solidify and simplify processes across an organization.
  • Access rights and organizational structure to ensure that all users can only see and create the documents theyare authorized.


Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience OR 7+years of professional experience including experience in a similar role with High School Diploma


    • Experience needs to be within Legal, Agreement/contract management or Legal document interpretation. Experience within Data Mining, Reporting Soft skill, SAP Salesforce Microsoft tool set.



The salary range for this position is $27-$37 . Messer provides medical, dental, vision, short term disability, life insurance and paid time off as well as other voluntary benefits, such as, long term disability in accordance with the terms and conditions of these Plans. Employees are eligible to enroll in Messer's 401(k) Plan. Employees may be eligible to participate in the company's bonus program.
