In the field of the Customer Experience mission, the Project Milestone Keeper at each milestone or review:
- They appreciate the project status according to the different KPI (Quality, Performance, Cost, Time Schedule, Industrial, Purchasing, Brand) and deliverables expected at each milestone.
- They contribute to improve the standards (Product Development Process) by bringing Their lessons learned from the different projects they are in charge.
- They will identify key program stoppers and if required, trigger appropriate escalation to help solve them prior to the milestone.
- They help/advise the project Teams to deploy the quality actions (recovery plans for program stoppers) and all the method needed to ensure the reachability of the Q Product results or Q Process results.
Their perimeter is:
- The platform projects or the midlife projects (serial life)
- The serial life evolutions (i.e. window launches) Platform
- The partnership or cooperation projects
- The new industrializations: i.e. new plant projects
To lead their mission, they :
- Have a very tight relationships with the project Team (all the main actors) to appreciate the right execution to obtain the contains expected at each milestone,
- Establishes the quotation of the deliverables expected for each milestone and to draw up the milestone assessment,
- Arranges the sharing milestone assessment meeting before each milestone to share the synthesis and the quotation of the assessment,
- Arranges, if needed, all the meeting between "Key stakeholders (Design, Brand, Industrial, ...)" and the project in order to find solutions for a recovery plan,
- Identifies the right method or process to advise the next projects and to improve the standards by using his lessons learned,
- Attends to the meeting to improve the method or process thanks to his own lessons learned acquired during the follow up of his projects,
- Has the assistance of a Project Quality Team to manage the activities allowing to define the milestone assessment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (other 4 year engineering degrees in combination with relevant experience may be considered)
- 10 + years engineering experience.
- 5 + years of management experience.
- Experience in the automotive industry and product development
- Self-directed, team oriented with demonstrated planning/problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with a variety of people at all levels of the organization
- Ability to collect and synthesize data into meaningful information and communicate clearly to all levels of the organization
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)

- Expertise in planning, prioritizing, and goal setting including the ability to manage multiple projects, determining project urgency, creating detailed action plans, and organizing schedules, people, and tasks
