Description and Requirements

We are seeking a Digital Transformation Leader to drive digital transformation initiatives across Lenovo's Product Development function. You will be especially responsible for the relationship with our US based Infrastructure (server, storage, edge, high performance computing and software defined infrastructure) business. As the successful candidate, you will lead teams of domain experts to deliver solutions that improve Lenovo's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process and business performance, ensuring projects are aligned with strategic goals, successfully implemented, and fully adopted to realize tangible business value.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a deep understanding of Lenovo's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes, especially for our Infrastructure business.

  1. Analyze business requirements in the PLM domain, design solutions, and drive their implementation and delivery.

  1. Represent the needs of the Infrastructure business to the worldwide Product Development Digital Transformation team, and be the key interface between the worldwide Product Development Digital Transformation team and Lenovo's Infrastructure business.

  1. Work with business and worldwide Digital Transformation and IT colleagues to develop a digital transformation roadmap for Lenovo's infrastructure business PLM to establish industry-leading digital product lifecycle management.

  1. Identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.

  1. Collaborate with business departments and IT teams to drive the digital transformation of PLM.

  1. Participate in the selection, implementation, and configuration of PLM systems to ensure they support the desired business processes.

  1. Develop and deliver on change management plans to facilitate the smooth implementation of business processes and PLM systems, meeting strategic and operational efficiency requirements.

  1. Lead PLM project execution and management as needed, overseeing timelines, stakeholder communication, and deliverable quality to meet project objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in PLM or related fields, with deep familiarity with PLM processes and tools.
  • Experience with AI design or AI scenario implementation, with a demonstrated track record of leveraging emerging technologies to enhance PLM capabilities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in structured project delivery.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical, business, and executive teams.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written), with the ability to articulate complex concepts, present to stakeholders, and document processes clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing PTC Windchill is strongly preferred.
  • A PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.

Location:

In compliance with the U.S. Data Security Act, this position requires on-site presence in Morrisville, NC to directly support the operation of U.S. data-related projects and systems. This ensures strict adherence to local data governance protocols, security standards, and regulatory requirements, which are critical to our U.S. operations.
