Monday- Friday 8am-5:00pm General Purpose: Provide administrative and operational support directly to a sales team to assist in achieving sales targets. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure the timely and accurate processing of sales -related tasks such as maintaining in-store compliance at stores within the assigned geographical area while monitoring and supplying goods of service to each customer. Coordinate activities between the sales representatives, customers, and various internal departments. Support the successful implementation of new accounts and ongoing account service to customers. Handle a wide variety of sales support activities as a result of full understanding of sales process and operational knowledge. Function as a go-to resource and provide assistance to team members. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete all necessary paperwork, ensuring proper signatures, and provide completed paperwork to appropriate group within established time frames
- Maintain organized records of leads, sales activities, customer interactions (inbound or outbound), and communications in designated system, ensuring information is accurate, comprehensive, and up to date
- Liaise with other departments or escalate to supervisor to address customer concerns and ensure effective problem resolution
- Create sales reports (customer inquiries, sales trends, customer complaints, delivery or service problems, reasons for product returns, etc.), forecasts, and performance analyses for the sales team
- Participate in sales meetings, providing updates on sales status, customer feedback, and other relevant information
- Support order processing and management if appropriate. Process sales orders accurately; coordinate fulfillment, shipping, and delivery to meet customer expectations; monitor the order status and provide regular updates to customers and the sales team; and handle order changes, cancellations, and returns, ensuring compliance with company policies
- Maintain updated knowledge of the company's products and services to address customer inquiries effectively
- Identify and suggest process improvements to streamline sales support operations
- Travel to customer store locations as required within a specific geographical area
- Ensure displays are set to plan-o-grams
- Check and report product voids
- Maintain ad hoc merchandising
- Manage inventory levels minimizing out of stocks and dump
- Execute all sales programs, POP (point of purchase) materials, and work to maximize sales in each store
- Set new stores and perform required resets
- Manage in-store customer fulfillment programs to include scan-based trading and web-based ordering
- Assist with customer service issues or complaints
- Complete pricing surveys as required
- Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
- Valid driver's license required

Minimum Requirements: Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 to 4 years of sales support, customer service, retail or related experience preferred
- Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment
