The Opportunity...

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Senior UX/UI/Product Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping end-to-end user experiences for complex enterprise software-balancing deep UX thinking with pixel-perfect UI execution. You will lead efforts in designing intuitive user flows, conducting research, and testing to validate usability, while also building scalable, accessible, and visually compelling design system components and screen mockups.

You'll play a critical role in simplifying complex workflows and enhancing data visualization, empowering enterprise users to confidently navigate and manage backup, recovery, and security operations. Your work will combine systems thinking, human-centered design, and a strong visual eye to bring clarity and consistency to our digital products. You will collaborate closely with designers, developers, and product managers to craft and deliver experiences that are as usable as they are beautiful. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

What you'll do...
UX Strategy & Research

  • Lead and conduct user research efforts (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing, heuristic evaluations) to gather insights and identify user needs, pain points, and mental models.
  • Translate research findings into actionable insights that influence product decisions and design direction.
  • Create and maintain user personas, journey maps, empathy maps, and service blueprints to align the team with a shared understanding of user needs.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define problem statements, UX goals, and success metrics.
  • Plan and execute usability testing sessions and synthesize findings to inform iteration and improve user flows and UI design.
  • Use data from tools such as Google Analytics, Pendo, or Hotjar to support UX decisions and prioritize areas of improvement.

UI Design & Design System

  • Design high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes that elevate the visual and functional quality of enterprise applications.
  • Maintain and evolve a modern, accessible, and scalable design system, ensuring consistency across components, patterns, and behaviors.
  • Deliver clear documentation including style guides, component usage guidelines, interaction behaviors, accessibility considerations, and responsive design specifications.
  • Design interfaces that comply with accessibility standards (WCAG) and support inclusive user experiences.
  • Conduct detailed design QA and UI audits to ensure implementation accuracy and consistency.

Interaction Design

  • Define and design user interactions and micro-interactions that enhance usability and reinforce system feedback.
  • Create task flows, wireframes, and clickable prototypes to illustrate and validate interaction ideas.
  • Ensure consistency and clarity in interaction patterns across features and product modules.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to align product strategy and ensure cohesive delivery.
  • Facilitate collaborative workshops (e.g., design sprints, co-creation sessions) to involve stakeholders in the design process.
  • Provide comprehensive design handoffs, including redlines, specs, and annotations to development teams.

Iteration, Feedback, and Advocacy

  • Lead and contribute to design critiques, providing and receiving actionable feedback to raise quality and maintain alignment.
  • Iterate on designs based on research, feedback, and technical constraints, always advocating for the best user experience.
  • Advocate for UX best practices within the team and broader organization, helping to educate non-design stakeholders.

Design Trends & Tooling

  • Stay informed about the latest trends in UX, UI, interaction design, and design systems.
  • Evaluate and adopt AI-powered design tools and workflows that improve efficiency and quality.
  • Share knowledge, inspire innovation, and help evolve the team's design practice.

Who you are...

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in UX/UI design roles, preferably in complex, data-heavy enterprise environments.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a blend of UX strategy, interaction design, and polished UI execution.
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end design processes-from research and ideation to delivery and iteration.
  • Deep understanding of UX principles, user research methodologies, and usability best practices.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining modern design systems with supporting documentation.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma (design, prototyping, components, libraries).
  • Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and how to apply them effectively.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS) and collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior designers and contributing to team development.
  • Background working on platforms related to IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Familiarity with analytics and behavioral tools (e.g., Pendo, FullStory, GA) to drive UX improvements.
  • Experience running or facilitating UX workshops or usability studies.

Personal Attributes

  • Passionate about creating exceptional, user-centered digital experiences.
  • Detail-oriented, curious, and thoughtful in solving complex problems.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • A collaborative and empathetic team player who values feedback and continuous learning.

You'll love working here because:
