Description Qualifications Previous experience overseeing the planning, design, fabrication, and installation of steel structures for various projects. Skilled with material / quantity take-offs from ISO drawings Working knowledge of oil & gas construction operations, construction, pipeline, marine operations OSHA 501 - Construction Must have strong organizational and communication skills both verbal and written and demonstrate the ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization Must demonstrate the ability to handle simultaneous assignments with frequent interruptions and deliver proven results. Proficient in Microsoft Office Requires understanding of engineering, design drawings, and project management. Responsibilities Prepare timely and accurate cost estimates and spend schedules (equipment/material/soft costs) for various phases of project scoping, project feasibility, preliminary scope, and budget quality. Assist in the preparation of project schedules based on cost estimates. Research current market data for accurate estimation of construction, material, equipment, and soft costs associated with project. Assist with cost estimates for project evaluation and bidding. Provide cost estimate adjustments and options throughout project life based on evolving conditions. Track actual costs relative to estimates and bids as projects progress. Assist in preparation of project budgeting and forecasting. Research and establish cost data base for estimating and project cost monitoring. Communicate with numerous internal groups as well as suppliers and third parties. Support development of project estimates sheets Provide regular reports and on as-needed basis. Provide project team timely information regarding areas that require increased project control to avoid over-expenditures and or time delays. Conduct periodic quality assessments of HSE processes to enhance personal coaching and mentoring effectiveness and demonstrate ownership in the successful implementation of HSE programs. |
