What you will do

As an Inside Sales Associate II supporting our Fire Inspection business, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth through quoting and upselling opportunities identified during fire safety inspections. You will engage directly with customers via phone, email, and other digital channels to provide tailored solutions, quote deficiencies, and expand service offerings. This role is essential in supporting our mission to deliver comprehensive fire protection solutions and ensure customer safety and satisfaction.

How you will do it

  • Proactively engage with customers to identify sales opportunities and provide product and service recommendations.
  • Quote deficiencies found during fire inspections and offer additional services aligned with Johnson Controls' full suite of fire protection solutions.
  • Collaborate with field inspectors and outside sales teams to ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads for opportunities outside the scope of inside sales.
  • Assist customers with product selection, pricing, order processing, and technical support.
  • Expedite orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and sales activities in CRM systems.
  • Meet or exceed revenue and profit margin targets through effective sales strategies and customer engagement.

What we look for

  • University degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, or
  • Associate degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in quoting, sales, or customer service within the fire protection or related industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with fire inspection processes and deficiency quoting.
  • Experience upselling or cross-selling technical services or products.
  • Knowledge of Johnson Controls' fire protection offerings is a plus
