What You Can Expect

We are searching for a full-time Business Operations Analyst II position within our Distributed Solar and Storage division. In this role, you will drive operational excellence across a dynamic portfolio of solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) assets. Your work will focus on performance monitoring, data analysis, and generating insights that improve asset reliability, availability, and cost efficiency. You'll collaborate closely with the Operations & Maintenance, Asset Management, IT, and Installation teams. Your contributions will foster a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and process optimization.

Retrieve and analyze data using tools such as Excel, SQL, and Synaptiq 3E.

Write high-quality SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and interpret data.

Monitor KPIs and partner with the O&M team to identify opportunities for system and process improvements.

Develop dashboards and reports to communicate performance insights to stakeholders.

Provide digital and IT support to enhance remote troubleshooting and technical communication.

Collaborate across teams to implement visual management, monitor KPIs, and improve financial performance.

What You'll Bring

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Operations, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 year in Renewables activities

Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization software.

Experience with Excel, SQL, and Python (or other scripting languages).

Excel skills, including pivot tables, multi-criteria lookups, nested formulas, data cleansing, and array formulas.

Technical problem-solving and analytical skills with a service-oriented approach.

Basic understanding of electrical equipment and calculations

Additional Details

Eligible for hybrid work policy.

Must comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies.

Must be available to travel domestically up to 10% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips

Compensation

Salary Range: $78,645 -104,790 USD/ annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
