Job Summary The Wire Department is responsible for processing wire transfer transactions and timely resolution of any inquiries or investigations related to processing. Due to the high level of demand and visibility, attention to detail is essential in wire processing, as well as adherence to strict deadlines, regulations, and policy. To fulfill these demands, teamwork and excellent customer service are essential. Candidates must be able to multi-task, prioritize job functions, and adapt to change quickly. This position's primary responsibility is to process incoming and outgoing wires, respond to colleague email inquiries timely, maintain records and reports, ensure accurate processing, and help investigate disputes. Along with the key functions listed below, this position will be expected to uphold the value that Washington Federal places on simply being kind when working alongside colleagues and servicing our clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Receives, reviews and processes outgoing wire instructions from branches and departments daily by wire room cutoff.
