Position Summary:



The Mental Health Counseling (MHC) MA Program at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University, seeks to hire a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor to start in Fall 2025. The successful candidate will contribute to graduate training and supervision of graduate students. Applicants with experience teaching online courses in mental health counseling and/or in psychology courses at the graduate level are desirable.



Position Responsibilities:




  • Teaching required MHC courses in person and online.
  • Academic advising.
  • Curriculum development.
  • Duties related to college & program committee assignments.



Experience & Educational Background:




  • Record of teaching excellence.
  • Experience in teaching counseling/psychology courses in person or online.
  • Demonstrated scholarly productivity.
  • PhD or PsyD in Counselor Education and Supervision or related field.
  • Licensed (or license eligible) in New York State as a Mental Health Counselor.



Skills & Competencies:




  • Strong track record of active training and clinical involvement.
  • Knowledge of CACREP and MPCAC accreditation standards.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Canvas.

Salary Range:
