Your Opportunity: Taylor Creative Designs, a division of Taylor Corporation, is seeking a Director, Creative Collaboration & Growth to join our team! In this role, you will manage the development of professional services as a new client solution to drive growth and maximize profitability. You will act as the bridge between various business units and teams, including multiple agencies, marketing, sales, technology and operations to ensure we deliver value to both the customer and the business. The ideal candidate has a solid background in strategic & creative businesses, people leadership, client interaction, a strong sense of market trends, an operational mindset and a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial spirit.

Key Objectives:

  • Successfully grow revenue and increase customer base within creative, professional services category for Bolster (brand experience design), Jon Michael Design (brand identity design), Marketing General Inc. (membership marketing) and other business as they are added to the business group.
  • Build and execute strategies to increase market share, improve customer experience, and improve internal efficiencies within creative professional services business group.
  • Build understanding and trust within the Taylor organization and within our customers as a subject matter expert for creative professional services.
  • Identify key insights and strategic recommendations; proactively mitigate risks for executive leadership.
  • Develop and actively track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the assigned category.
  • Develop strategies to promote our organization and build and execute a long-term strategy for the agency group.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Establish Taylor Creative Designs, Inc. Structure:

  • Serve as initial representative for Taylor agency inquiries - internal and external - as well as representative for RFPs as a part of business development team.
  • Collaborate with leadership stakeholders to develop value proposition and company-wide socialization of Creative Professional Services as a business group within Taylor Corporate.
  • Partner in documenting and socializing internal engagement process to activate professional services and enable manufacturing revenue.
  • Lead the development and execution of market intelligence strategies to identify best-fit customer verticals, industry trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Conduct in-depth internal and external analysis of capabilities/solutions, customer insights, market opportunities, and brand performance to inform strategy.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams (e.g., legal, tax, HR, etc.) to shape structure and process aligned with professional services business model.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of category specialists, fostering a high-performance culture.

Category Growth

  • Promote agency professional services as a strategic differentiator for Taylor manufacturing and vice versa.
  • Identify sales channels and personnel to partner with, to successfully grow revenue and customer base for professional services (internal, external and direct)
  • Prepare and deliver customer presentations to map customer needs with agency and Taylor capabilities, recommending creative solutions to reduce cost and/or increase profitability.
  • Gather and prioritize customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and technology product owners to bring the category to market.
  • Work closely with technology team to maintain a roadmap for technology solutions.
  • Partner with finance to set budgets and track category financial performance.
  • Identify key metrics and KPIs for success, adjusting strategy as needed.
  • Monitor performance by analyzing data and user feedback to make informed decisions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong experience in agency and manufacturing with 10+ years of experience in the field
  • Strong customer-facing experience and a high level of comfort in complex situations
  • Knowledge of production capabilities and technology requirements needed for execution
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience in building and developing high-performing teams
  • Demonstrated success working on cross-functional teams to achieve positive outcomes
  • Ability to present technical ideas and concepts to senior leadership
  • Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Build compelling value propositions for customers during product strategy
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  • Ability to work independently and on multiple projects
  • Tenacious and relentless in executing their category strategy
  • May include travel up to 25% of the time

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $155,000 - $175,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
