Pharmaceutical Data Center Project Manager Overview:
Join our team as a Project Manager overseeing the execution of pharmaceutical data center projects. You'll support project development, ensure timely and profitable delivery, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support profitable execution of assigned projects from planning to completion

  • Collaborate with sales, installation, and vendor teams during early project development

  • Assist in scope definition, value engineering, and risk assessment

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet contract scope

  • Monitor cash flow and pursue change orders to enhance project value

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

  • Uphold safety standards across all project phases

  • Follow consistent project management processes and documentation

  • Balance customer satisfaction with financial performance

  • Coordinate material procurement, subcontractor management, and scheduling

  • Communicate project progress and financials to leadership

  • Attend job site meetings and support customer training as needed

Qualifications:

  • Experience in large-scale data center or pharmaceutical facility projects

  • Strong understanding of construction practices, codes, and project controls

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and financial reporting tools

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience preferred

What we look for

Required

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience.

  • Able to travel. Travel will vary on project assignment. Projects may exist outside of assigned geography

  • Proficient in Project Management software and financial accounting systems.

  • Strong Personal Computer working capabilities in MS Office (excel, word, power point, project), Adobe Writer, Visio and basic Windows environment.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture or an associate's degree with equivalent work-related experience and minimum of Eight years of direct project management experience in the Building Construction Industry preferred.

  • Management experience with projects related to Mechanical Retrofits, HVAC controls, BAS management, Fire management, and Security management systems is desired.

  • Expectation that PMI/PMP (Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional) certification will be obtained within 2 years of employment in the position.

Hiring Compensation Range: $97,200.00 - 162,200.00 USD Annual. (Annual rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
