DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this leadership role, you will perform a full range of supervisory tasks as you manage a team of IT support staff. You will be responsible for the daily operations of the staff to include the integrity of pc systems, maintenance, and enhancement work performed by the team. Duties involve delegating, assigning, and prioritizing work and reviewing results for content, quality, and time management. This position manages and maintains the pc support Game Desk ticketing system making sure issues are getting resolved in a timely and efficient manner. You will be expected to monitor pc support devices for performance and problems. You will have the opportunity to plan and implement changes to the operating system and related software to improve performance, correct problems, or institute the latest technologies. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 45-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. Telework is not permitted during the initial six month probationary period. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, telework may be approved on an as-needed basis with prior approval from the supervisor. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Information Technology Generalist 2, Applications Developer 2, Database Analyst, Information Security Specialist 1, or Network Specialist 2; or
- Five years of information technology experience that includes two years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services; or
- Three years of information technology experience that includes two years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or
- One year of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
