Description

The Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University seeks a Teaching Assistant for Building the AI Organization. We invite professionals with knowledge in change management, business operations and strategy and/or artificial intelligence and demonstrated, student-centered mentorship to apply.



This course revolves around AI systems, which are increasingly complex, and the robust planning required to implement such systems successfully. In this course, students learn to formulate AI strategies that align with organizational goals, consider talent acquisition, follow change management best practices, and foster trust between AI systems and stakeholders. Students also develop an organizational roadmap that articulates their strategy for AI implementation.



Some of the topics covered include Strategy, Risk, Change Management, Talent Management, and Financial Management.



The instructional support staff will provide assistance to the professor with a range of activities including grading/reviewing assignments, holding review sessions for students, course organization in Canvas, course support during the class, responding to student questions and other duties as assigned to ensure the successful completion of the course by students who are enrolled.


Qualifications

Understanding the organizational implications of implementing an AI project and knowledge regarding the aforementioned class topics.
