Are you passionate about affordable housing compliance and want to contribute to meaningful work? Gorman & Company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Operations Specialist to support our national portfolio of multifamily housing communities. In this position, you'll play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of housing assistance payments and regulatory documentation across a variety of affordable housing programs.

What You'll Do


  • Process, reconcile, and submit monthly Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) and resident ledgers
  • Serve as a liaison with public housing agencies to request, verify, and maintain HAP documentation
  • Manage rent increase processes and maintain rent comparability analyses
  • Monitor TRACS for errors in voucher and resident file submissions and ensure timely resolution
  • Administer EIV report uploads, system user access, and audit-ready documentation
  • Support special claims, site-level compliance functions, and regulatory reporting for LIHTC and HOME programs


What You'll Bring


  • Thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and
  • Able to work independently while collaborating with a larger team.
  • Hands-on experience with HUD Project-Based Section 8, LIHTC, HOME, or Voucher programs
  • Lease-up and initial file processing experience required
  • RealPage OneSite experience highly preferred
  • Exceptional organization, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-volume setting

  • Salary Range: $59,155 - $75,782 annually, based on experience
