Job Description This supervisor position coordinates and executes on the data needs of the Product Management team, ensures timeliness and quality of statistical reporting deliverables, and provides oversight, support and direction to Product Management Analysts and Statisticians. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Trains and mentors PMAs, Statisticians and Product Interns, sets, and enforces PMA and Statistician service standards, provides quality oversight and assists PMAs and Statisticians with project prioritization. Leads the Statistician and/or Product Management Analyst team(s). Maintains standardized monthly reports to measure and monitor performance of growth and profitability and product development initiatives. Utilizes industry reporting tools to review and summarize a competitor's market share and performance within a region or line of business. Analyzes regional or line of business results to identify trends and issues and work with the product manager to address. Works closely with the Business Intelligence team, develops standardized monthly reports for a specified region and/or line of business to measure and monitors performance of the growth and profitability and product development initiatives. Performs field research, including customer distribution, competitor, insurance department, and statistical analysis. Promotes data-driven decision-making by analyzing data and communicating findings clearly and objectively to a variety of internal business partners. Ensures quality of reports developed by the statisticians prior to submission to statistical agents. Work closely with Compliance and Actuarial teams to identify opportunities for creating dataflows for mutual benefit. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree. Three or more years of experience.
