Description Cable tech needed to provide 4-6 weeks of support to a cabling project in a warehouse or manufacturing facitility. The Project is to provide data cabling and wireless access points to an end customer going through a digitial transformation - upgrading the connectivity across the site. Working under the supervision of a Lead Technician our Cable tech will assist with running wiring and cabling across the site Reading blueprints and site drawing to determine the cable runs Perform cable runs, dressing cable and terminating is required Experience with structured cabling projects, network data cable runs is important. Terminating with RJ45 and crimpers, terminating into data closet, terminating into data outlets Wiring devices such as wireless access points Skills Cable, Cat5, Cat6, Cabling, Cable installation, Install, Cable puller, Punchdown, Cable tech, low voltage, WAP, Wire, Wiring, Cctv, Security, Access control, Alarm systems, Electrical, Troubleshooting, Boom lift, Aerial Lift Top Skills Details Cable,Cat5,Cat6,Cabling,Cable installation,Install,Cable puller,Punchdown,Cable tech,low voltage,WAP,Wire,Wiring Additional Skills & Qualifications Working at heights - ladder and lift - experience with and ability to work in this environment Work as a team to run cabling Experience with appropriate hand tools needs for this role Attendance and Punctuality is key Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
