Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a FGP Clinical Manager - OB/GYN, IVF.

The NYULFC Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing daily clinical and ancillary operations across multiple practice locations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, staff leadership, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role combines strategic oversight with direct engagement in clinical functions, fostering a patient-centered environment while supporting professional development and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

Clinical Oversight & Compliance:
  • Ensure all clinical operations comply with federal, state, and accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission, DOH, NYULH, AAAASF, etc.).
  • Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical protocols and workflows.
  • Participate in survey preparation and regulatory readiness activities.
  • Supervise credentialing processes and ensure clinical documentation accuracy.
  • Take ownership of quality assurance initiatives.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead clinical teams including APPs, RNs, MAs, CSTs.
  • Hire, train, and manage clinical and ancillary staff.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and huddles to review protocols and performance.
  • Oversee performance evaluations and implement staff development plans.
  • Provide mentorship, feedback, and support for staff career growth.
  • Promote interdepartmental collaboration in partnership with leadership throughout the practice.
  • Lead by example with integrity, collaboration, and professionalism.
  • Set strategic direction and align clinical operations with organizational goals.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing, training, discipline, and recognition.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement and innovation.

Patient Experience Leadership:

  • Supervise and occasionally deliver direct patient care including.
  • Oversee clinical care coordination through all stages of fertility treatment.
  • Ensure clear and timely communication with patients regarding treatment plans and results.
  • Maintain best-in-class patient service and safety.
  • Promote a consistent, compassionate patient experience in every interaction.
  • Apply service recovery models (e.g., CARES (Connect, Align, Respond, Ensure, and Sign-Off), LEARN (Listen, Empathize, Apologize, Resolve, Notify)) to resolve patient concerns.
  • Collaborate with support departments to enhance patient access and satisfaction.
  • Foster a culture of empathy, respect, and transparency.

Operational Management:

  • Manage clinic scheduling and staffing aligned with patient volumes and budget targets.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment within financial constraints.
  • Support planning and transitions for new or expanding clinical locations.
  • Optimize workflow and collaborate on administrative initiatives to improve efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum of seven (7) years RN experience, with at least two (2) years in a leadership role with direct reports.
- Fertility clinic experience required.
- Demonstrated expertise in team management, clinical operations, and patient care excellence..

Required Licenses: Registered Nurse License-NYS

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in REI. Additional preferred experience include but not limited to:
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams across locations.
- Proficiency in EMR systems.
- Technical competency in MS Suite.
- Analytical skills to drive quality metrics and workflow improvements.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and regulatory compliance.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $117,107.95 - $195,179.92 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
