Supervisor - Clerical Practice - Urology

Description

Under the direction of the Practice Manager, the Clerical Practice Supervisor provides oversight and direction to the day-to-day operations of the practice ensuring that patient care services are provided in a professional and efficient fashion. This position is responsible for supervising administrative staff and coordinating the daily operations to ensure a smooth workflow and optimum productivity while maintaining patient, staff and physician satisfaction. The supervisor maintains a full understanding of the operations, trains new staff and provides back-up to the administrative staff as necessary.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Associate's Degree in a health related field is preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Three to five years of experience in outpatient or hospital setting with at least two years of direct supervision experience preferred, and understanding of office practice workflow and operations.
  4. Knowledge of medical terminology, strong computer skills and excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  5. Requires strong analytical and problem solving skills.
