Hourly Pay Range:

$39.72 - $61.57 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • SIGN-ON BONUS: $10,000
  • Position: Lead Mammography Technologist

  • Location: Arlington Heights, IL

  • Full Time - 40 hours/week

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

  • Required Travel: Float to Vernon Hills, Gurnee, Northbrook, Buffalo Grove, Kildeer, & Schaumburg

What you will do:

  • Team Lead responsibility, oversees a work area or function, without the ability to hire, terminate, promote or evaluate another position.

  • Performance of all quality control as specified and performs routine mammographic exams.

  • Serves as department contact for various government agencies.

  • Implementing all radiologist recommendations.

  • Maintenance of records for all mammographers.

  • Maintenance of mammographic supplies and equipment.

  • Patient scheduling/patient flow.

  • Prepare daily work schedule. Performance of evaluations.

  • Orientation and training of staff.

  • Oversees Women's Health patient flow and addresses patient/staff questions on a daily basis.

  • Works to obtain all images for ACR accreditations for Mammography/Stereotactic images.

What you will need:

  • Five years experience as a Mammography Technologist, required.

  • Graduate of an accredited school in Radiologic Technology required.

  • ARRT certification and current ARRT registration required.

  • ARRT Mammography certification and current ARRT registration required.

  • Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency license required.

  • Current CPR (BLS) certification required from the American Heart Association.

  • Knowledge of and/or experience in the correct use of body mechanics.
