Windows Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Windows Engineer for a 12 month contract role with our client in the retail industry in Richfield, MN. This role is hybrid.

Role Description:

Seeking a self-motivated IT Engineer with extensive experience in managing diverse hardware types, platforms, and management tools within a large retail enterprise. The ideal candidate will provide detailed status updates to team members and leadership, demonstrating strong technical and troubleshooting skills, have strong written and verbal skills as well as an aptitude for process improvement and a willingness to learn new technologies as the business evolves.

Typical Day:

• Goal is to manage print management system, Lexmark printers, to take that work over
• Helping with Deployments, POS, application deployments, providing high level troubleshooting to support teams
• Typical windows engineering, they are doing a Windows 11 upgrade
• Upgrading POS hardware, assist with that

Skills Required:

• Proficient in PowerShell and Microsoft OS
• Experience with Printing, desktop support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Able to work independently as well as with a large team, as required.
• Able to communicate effectively - written and verbally, as required.
• Work in the office as required by meetings and labs.

What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?

• Experience with POS systems, JIRA, Github, and Microsoft InTune.

Compensation:

Hourly W2 pay: $52.00 to $55.00/hour

We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
